I see where you are coming from - but I think he is too good, too diverse. His moral trials as The Doctor have elevated him above Bond. He is better as a demon with a Bentley. I don’t think it would be believable to have him kill for the Queen.

I actually like the idea of a Tom hiddleston bond. Another idea on a tough bond like Craig would be Tom Hardy

But to be honest I would love another Pie rce Brosnan version . Kind of like when Connery came back. But that's a bit more selfish as to me goldeneye is still the best

They should just i nvent a time machine, bring back a younger Daniel Craig, and go round again. Be st Bond ever IMO, even if the actual films haven’t necessarily served him. He nai ls the OG Bond, who was a stone cold killer. I struggle to see Tennant conveying   the “I’ll kill you if I need to and not even think about it afterwards” vibe. T hough he’s fricking brillia n t in both Broadchurch and Good Omens.
